Extrude it - Start with your 2d roof plan. Use RBT to extrude your roof planes and exterior walls to create a 3d solid model. RBT has no limiations as to how complex your roof plan can be. The basic rule of thumb is: If you can draw it in 2d then you can model it in 3d.

View it - You can easily view or study your model within RBT. Since all entities created are 3d solids, exporting it to a rendering program is no problem.

Elevate it - After you have extruded your roof, you can extract 2d elevations from your roof model. These hidden images are flat 2d lines and can be used in any working drawing.
